Treating dry skin

Winter is the worst time of our skin. Many people experience itching, rough, irritated, dry and painful skin . Going to the local market for the  healing lotions and creams most advertised to help eliminate discomfort and heal the roughness of the moments of relief. But many people are avoiding the essential and inexpensive ways not only to get the help you need for dry, chapped and cracked skin but also help prevent it.

Human beings are composed mostly of water. For some reason, in the cold, many do not believe in the need to ensure that you are drinking enough water. In summer, when sweat doing summer sports, we feel the need to drink plenty of water to help replenish the water we have lost. In winter, cold air is practically the same in our bodies as the summer heat. Fluid is removed from the body. This then dries and cracks in the skin, leaving it cracked and itchy. Be sure to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily, improve your chances in the battle to avoid dry, rough skin. Just do this for  two weeks and you will start seeing a noticeable improvement in your skin in just a few days.

Stay with the importance of moisture,a good moisturizing lotion is also a good idea. Buy one that is right for your skin type so you do not end up with oily skin. I recommend a cream over a lotion in the cold, as a cream is thicker and more protective of the skin. Spend a minute to read the label. Cream or lotion that is used in summer is ideal for summer, in winter, chances are it is a different lotion. Stay away from creams or lotions with alcohol in the first ingredients as alcohol actually dries out your skin which is not what you  want.

The third step is to dress properly in the cold. Consider carefully. Any exposed skin that you have increases the possibility that the cold will remove some moisture. The layer of clothing  next to the skin should be made of cotton. Cotton allows the skin to breathe, will keep you warm and will not irritate the skin.

Take these three simple steps, you just get a really big improvement in dry skin, and may help prevent skin  from becoming dry. Drink plenty of fluids, use hydrating lotion suitable for your skin type and the right clothes and you will have a healthy, well hydrated,  skin is within that is healthy  and well hydrated.
